1. OTA updates(software updates)
4.4 kitkat or Marshmallow etc to old phone!!


Friends if you got any update are you want to update phone by change the ROM see carefully that your phones hardware is compatible to support that new update because most people try to update latest Android versions so that there phone are not compatible and in result of this they face LAG. If you get any update and you think it does not got any cool features so don't update it as your phones work with you custom software perfectly.


2. HEAVY APPLICATION UPDATES


Now see friends when we get updates for apps from App store we update them and see a laggy performance in our phone it is because of that the developer see that latest phones are coming with good performance so they try to update their softwear according to there needs they don't see the old phones so if you are updateing an app see its description if it contain any use full thing than update otherwise leave it use you old version of App as it is good  for you and don't produce lag.

Mostly we download different kind of apps on our phones and if we don't like them so we uninstall them but the files of that Apps are still in our phone storage now these increase day by day and the memory of your phone becaome slow as it can not READ or Write correctly because the files are spreaded in different chunks so phone can not use the storage correctly. So i will suggest you to uninstall those files it will make your phone performance faster easily.
